Visitor Registration & Badges

Yes. Admission to InfoComm Asia 2027 is free for all industry professionals. Fees may apply for certain special events.

Register online in advance. Once you complete registration successfully, you will receive a confirmation email containing a QR code. You will need this QR code to collect your printed badge on show day. 

Pre-registering is strongly recommended to avoid queues at the badge collection counters on arrival. 

Bring your QR code to any badge collection counter from 9:30 AM on your day of attendance. You have two options: 

  • Show the QR code on your phone — the counter staff will scan it and print your badge on the spot. 

  • Print the QR code from your confirmation email — present the printout to collect your badge. 

Your printed badge is required for entry to the exhibition floor and all show programmes on all days. 

Badge collection hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (28–29 July) and 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM (30 July)

Yes. Colleagues are welcome to attend InfoComm Asia 2027 regardless of their job function. 

Everyone must register individually to obtain their own badge.

The Invited Guest Program (IGP) is a curated, hosted programme connecting high-volume buyers, senior project specifiers, and enterprise decision-makers from across APAC — including Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia — with exhibitors. IGP participants have confirmed near-term project needs and ready budgets.

Travel, Venue & Visa

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) (KUL)

This is Malaysia’s main international airport, located approximately 45 km south of Kuala Lumpur city centre. It serves the majority of international long-haul and regional flights and is the most convenient arrival point for international exhibitors and visitors attending InfoComm Asia.

From Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), visitors can reach Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) via the following transport options:

  • Taxi / Ride-hailing: The most convenient option is to take a taxi or ride-hailing service (such as Grab). The journey takes approximately 50–60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
  • KLIA Ekspres + Taxi/Grab: Take the KLIA Ekspres from KLIA to KL Sentral Station (approximately 30 minutes). From KL Sentral, continue by taxi or Grab to MITEC (approximately 15–20 minutes).
  • Bus: Airport buses operate from KLIA to KL Sentral and other locations in Kuala Lumpur. From KL Sentral, visitors can continue to MITEC by taxi or public transport. Journey times vary depending on traffic conditions.
  • Train (MRT/LRT connections): Visitors can take the KLIA Ekspres or KLIA Transit to KL Sentral, then connect via Kuala Lumpur’s public transport network or taxi/Grab to reach MITEC. As MITEC does not have a direct rail station, a short taxi or ride-hailing ride is recommended for the final leg.

Yes, parking is available at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) for visitors and exhibitors. The venue offers multi-storey parking facilities with designated parking areas for cars and motorcycles.

Visitors are advised to follow the event signage and directions provided onsite for the nearest available parking areas. Parking availability may vary during peak event periods, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.

Kuala Lumpur offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit different preferences and budgets. For visitors attending InfoComm Asia at MITEC, recommended areas to stay include:

  • KL City Centre (KLCC / Bukit Bintang): Ideal for first-time visitors, with easy access to hotels, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options.
  • Mont Kiara / Hartamas: Located closer to MITEC, these areas offer convenient access to the venue, as well as a variety of dining and lifestyle options.
  • Bangsar / Brickfields: Well-connected areas with a mix of hotels, restaurants, and easy access to public transportation.

When selecting accommodation, visitors may wish to consider proximity to MITEC, transportation options, and nearby amenities. Kuala Lumpur has a wide range of hotels, from international hotel brands to boutique stays, catering to different budgets and preferences.

Visa requirements for Malaysia vary depending on your nationality. Visitors are advised to check the latest entry requirements with the Malaysian Embassy, High Commission, or official immigration website in their country before travelling.

Most visitors are required to have a valid passport with at least six months’ validity from the date of entry. Eligible travellers may enter Malaysia without a visa for short stays, while others may need to apply for a visa prior to arrival.

The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is an online arrival registration form required for most foreign visitors travelling to Malaysia. It collects travellers’ personal and travel information to facilitate a smoother immigration process upon arrival.

Visitors are required to complete the MDAC online within three days prior to their arrival in Malaysia. After submission, travellers should keep a copy of the confirmation for reference when clearing immigration.

Travellers are advised to check the latest entry requirements and exemptions before departure, as requirements may vary depending on nationality and travel circumstances.

Weather: Kuala Lumpur in July is warm, humid, and tropical, with temperatures typically ranging from 24–33°C (75–91°F). Rain showers and thunderstorms can occur, often in the afternoon or evening. MITEC is fully air-conditioned — bringing a light jacket or layer is recommended for comfort inside the venue.

Dress code: Business casual is standard at InfoComm Asia. There is no formal dress code. Comfortable attire and footwear are recommended, especially for walking around the exhibition halls.

Currency: The Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) is used in Kuala Lumpur. Major credit cards are widely accepted at hotels, shopping malls, and larger restaurants. Cash may be preferred at smaller businesses, local eateries, and some markets. ATMs are widely available throughout the city.

Language: Bahasa Malaysia (Malay) is the official language. English is widely spoken and understood, especially in Kuala Lumpur, hotels, restaurants, and business areas.

Time zone: UTC+8 (Malaysia Time — MYT). Malaysia does not observe daylight saving time.
