Temo Anda, PhD, is a Senior AI Research Scientist at NCS Group in Singapore, where he leads the development of AI systems for transport, public safety, and smart city applications. With nearly a decade of experience in machine learning and AI, his recent work focuses on large language models (LLMs) and autonomous AI agents for real-world use cases.
He is the creator of Solaris, an AI assistant for real-time traffic incident response, and Astral AI, a simulation tool for urban planning. Temo also contributes to AI Singapore’s SeaLion project, Southeast Asia’s open-source foundation model.
He holds a PhD from ETH Zurich and has delivered projects across Asia and Europe, bridging cutting-edge AI research with practical industry impact. Temo is passionate about building more adaptive and responsive cities through AI innovation.
