Richard Johns is the Founder and Managing Director of VEGA Japan, one of Japan's leading AV integration firms. Since establishing the company in 2011, he has led its growth while overseeing a team of more than 90 professionals from 15 nationalities.

With over 20 years of business experience in Japan, Richard has directed hundreds of AV projects across the corporate, education, and hospitality sectors. Fluent in Japanese and deeply familiar with the local business environment, he has helped bring global AV best practices and innovative technologies to the Japanese market.

Under his leadership, VEGA Japan has expanded into events management and creative media while introducing flexible technology lifecycle models that make advanced AV solutions more accessible to organizations. Prior to founding VEGA Japan, Richard negotiated major commercial agreements across the defense, medical technology, and mobile content industries
