Kallan Roi is the AV Senior Platform Manager at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where he leads one of Australia's largest higher education AV operations. With 15 years at UTS, he oversees a team of more than 30 specialists supporting over 900 learning and meeting spaces across design, programming, commissioning, project management, and technical support.

An active contributor to the Australian AV and education technology community, Kallan serves on the AETM committee and has presented at AETM, Integrate, AVIXA Tech Talks, and SCHOMS as the recipient of AETM's annual bursary.

At UTS, he is leading large-scale AV standardization initiatives that have significantly improved deployment efficiency and reduced documentation effort. Kallan is passionate about building smarter systems, strengthening internal capability, and driving operational excellence in AV environments.
