Creative learning with innovative AV aids
See latest audiovisual aids for education from international and emerging Asian AV brand leaders at InfoComm Asia 2010 (www.infocomm-asia.com), Asia's largest trade show dedicated to professional audiovisual, information communication and systems integration.
(Hong Kong, 27 July 2010) For both the learner and the trainer, AV technology can greatly enhance the information exchange process, whether it is in a formal instruction environment or self-directed learning. The convergence of video, voice and data communication technologies open up new possibilities, unleashing new audiovisual aids to excite, involve and inspire learners, and at the same time facilitating trainers in their lesson preparation and presentation.
Imagine a classroom equipped with an e-board hooked on to a system that can read computer data, music and video files, which will save the teacher time writing on the board and turning his back on the students; a visualizer that can capture and display field specimens or art illustrations in zoomed detail, offering the entire class a close look simultaneously instead of having to wait for the specimen to be passed around before meaningful discussion can take place; a lecture theatre complete with multimedia lectern, surround sound system and 360-degree immersive AV system that is capable of interactive graphics and 3D visuals, providing virtual reality simulation and experiential learning. Or, a multicast platform that records, streams and manages digital video across IP networks, connecting lecture theatres within the same campus or students in different campuses, and promoting collaborative or distance learning.
Technology Showcase
The technologies for such solutions to enhance the learning experience will be showcased at
InfoComm Asia 2010 happening from 17-19 November 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Some 320 companies from 27 countries will be exhibiting their latest systems for education sector technology managers and other business sectors.
