Taking AV technologies to India's doorsteps
Public and private corporations in India's major business cities looking to adopting AV communication strategies for that competitive edge will be treated to the latest offerings by major AV manufacturers right at their doorsteps this December. Coming from countries as far as the USA, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, these international market players will be going on a Road Show to New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, to share their technologies and applications.
As India continues to pursue economic growth and development, demand for information delivery and display products is expected to increase. In 2006, India registered a 9.2% GDP growth (Asian Development Outlook), the highest since 1988. It is currently the fourth largest economy in terms of purchasing power, and is expected to become the third pole in the world economy by 2025, after US and China.
These companies on the Road Show will collectively demonstrate how their audio-video products and technologies can benefit the government infrastructural sectors such as air/rail traffic controls and surveillance, security, education and health services, as well as private enterprises in entertainment, high end retail, commercial and residential building and construction. At the same time, the manufacturers will also be assisted to connect with channel distributors to expand their market. The one-day Road Show in each city will feature an exhibition and a program of seminars. Registration to attend the Road Show is free and participants will have ample opportunities to network with each other.
This Road Show in India is scheduled for 10-14 December, 2007. It is the first in a series planned by InfoCommAsia Pte Ltd (link to www.infocommasia.org), a specialist organizer of trade shows dedicated to the AV industry in Asia and the regional office of InfoComm InternationalR (link to www.infocomm.org).
